First Day of School 2010!!

It finally came today! The first day of school! I'm not gonna lie-we were ALL anticipating this day! Back-to-School night was Tuesday when the kids found out who their teachers will be, and we are excited about the coming year! And what kid isn't excited about the first day of school? Heck! They get to wear their brand new clothes! It is crazy how fast they grow up tho! I mean really! Sammy is in FOURTH GRADE!!!

Austin cracks me up! Recently whenever I go to take a picture of him, he tries to bust out his tough guy image! Lol!

EMS Cookout

The day before the Pioneer Day parade, all the EMS gang and their families get together to wash the fire trucks and ambulances, and then of course have a cookout! Always a good time! The kids love to play and climb up on the trucks! And I, personally, like the yummy food and good company of course! Curtis was even our chef this year! :)

4-wheeler Picnic

Also in May a couple of friends and I took the little kids on a 4-wheeler picnic while the older kids were in school! We rode up in the North Hills and had a nice long ride and then stopped to have lunch. :)

And the Updating Begins.....

Back in May we were invited to go 4-wheeling with our good friends! We loaded the 4-wheelers and took them up to the reservoir. There we unloaded and went for a nice ride! We seen some deer too which the kids always love! Then we found a spot to roast our hot dogs and marshmallows! The weather even stayed perfect for us until we got back to the trucks to load back up! We had so much fun!!

Tis the season to PLAY BALL!!!

April thru June is Little League season for our little town! The kids love to play ball!

Sammy played her first year in the Minor League! She did so good! Now we need to work with her on pitching because she really seems to want to give that a try. :)

And for their cutest fans! Taryne and her friend Ashlynn! Not even Taryne can go to the ball park without getting a hot dog! :)

Austin participated in his second year of Machine Pitch! He worked so hard and did so awesome!! He got some pretty good hits! He was so excited to be a DODGER too of course!

Memorial Day Outing

Last Memorial Day we started what I think will be our new Memorial Day tradition! :) We basically just load up and head out with our tinfoil dinners and snacks in hand. We like the reservoir of course because there is the fun of the water and it is close. This year the kids had fun catching frogs! It's so much fun to just throw our dinners in the fire and chill and relax with great friends and family! Then of course roasting marshmallows and eating smores for dessert!

Love My Sis!!

So last weekend the family all got together to clean out Grandpa's house! Even though it was a lot of work, the fam can always pull off some fun! It was great to see everyone, and great how well we worked together and got things done! When all was done we got out the box Cindy had sent down and the kids had a little shin dig for Jenn's Birthday and I had made her a cake! Here is a picture of Jenn and some of the party animals! :)

This last weekend Jenn got her mission call and we got to be there when she opened it! Sister Jones will be leaving July 14 and will be serving the Texas San Antonio mission!! She is going to be an AWESOME Missionary, and I know there will be many lives blessed by her decision to serve! We LOVE you JENN!! :)
