Finally his Birthday!

Austin turned six on Saturday! He was so excited that it was FINALLY HIS BIRTHDAY! After Sammy has her birthday in June he always thinks it is forever before it gets to be his.

This year we had his first party that he got to invite friends. It was a Fireman's theme and they had a lot of fun! He was so excited about the presents everyone brought! So thank you everyone!

We had our family party on Sunday and had dinner and cake and ice cream of course. We had a lot of people and a lot of fun! Thanks everyone for coming!

Brownie points EARNED!!!

I just have to say how much I LOVE my husband! He is the BEST! I can't believe that we have been married for 8 years now and have three WONDERFUL kids!

Our anniversary was on Tuesday, and Curtis made it such a wonderful day!

We went to St. George for what I thought was to shop and take Taryne to a Dr. appointment. We went and had breakfast at the Marriott (they have the best omelets)! Curtis told me I had an appointment at 10:30 but would not tell me for what. He drove around and then pulled up at the St. George Day Spa! He basically dropped me off and said "see you in about 5 hours." What?! What are they going to do to me?! He just told me that they were going to take care of me. And that they did. It was WONDERFUL!! I got the WHOLE works! Massage, Exfoliation, Facial, Pedicure and Manicure! I have never been pampered like that and I enjoyed EVERY minute of it! But that's not all! When Curt picked me up he had my sister's truck which I thought was just because he loves to drive it, but nope, Curtis had taken Taryne to her appointment and then Jenn to our van and Taryne home and stayed with the kids that night! THANK YOU JENN!

Yeah!! So Curtis and I went to the Olive Garden for dinner. Yum! Love it! and then went to the movie. I know! Great huh?! But that's STILL not it! He also got us a suite at the Marriott that night! Yes, It was AWESOME! Talk about the BEST ANNIVERSARY EVER!!

THE BEST HUSBAND EVER!! I LOVE YOU BABE!!!

Our Birthday Girl!

Yep! Today our baby girl Taryne turned ONE! We celebrated today with family. We had dinner and cake and ice cream. We also did a little Rock Band too!

Taryne is SUCH a SWEETHEART!! We love her to death!! She has been such a good baby!

Some things about Taryne:

7 lbs 1 oz when she was born-same as me and Sammy both were. :)

She is her brother's shadow

Loves to make everyone laugh

Loves to gives hugs

Does NOT like to get dressed-especially long sleeves

Loves bath time-actually just loves the water

Not a picky eater WHATSOEVER! (edible or not)

Likes the kittys

Likes to sing and dance

Just learned to blow kisses

Can show you that she is ONE

Quite the daredevil

Loves to eat Crayons-hence the Crayon birthday cake

Likes to play with trucks
Very fond of ice cream

Just learned to feed herself with a spoon!

She is an early and happy riser

She is her Grandpa's little buddy!

She loved her presents! Thank you everyone for coming and celebrating with us and for the great gifts! We had a really good time.

Trick-or-Treat!

Thursday was the PTA Halloween Carnival. The kids always have so much fun there! They love to play the games and win prizes! I personally go for the food. :) Austin even won a prize in the costume contest!

Friday Curtis and my sis took the kids trick-or-treating. (I had to work) They had a lot of fun but I am sure Austin was especially in heaven-that kid LOVES candy!

Pumpkins Part 2

Monday we finally carved our pumpkins! All except for Austin's mysterious uncarvable pumkin(we couldn't even cut through it). Sammy drew her own on, and with Grandma's help did carved her own(top). Curtis and I did the vampire one. The one on the left is one I did at a party the other night. I thought they turned out pretty darn good. :)
I tell you this girl will eat ANYTHING!
After we got our pumpkins lit, we all ate pumpkin roll. YUM!

"Pumpkin Patch!"

Monday for FHE we went to the "pumpkin patch" and picked out pumpkins! The kids worked hard doing their chores so that they could earn their pumpkins. Now this coming Monday we are going to carve them. They have been asking everyday if we can carve them yet.

I have been tagged by Susan. I am supposed to pick my fourth picture from my fourth folder and tell a little bit about it. Ahh...look how little he is. This was taken Valentines of 2005 when they opened their gifts from Aunt Jenny. He does weird things like that in pictures all the time-don't ask me why.

Rain or Shine or.....SNOW?!!!

The kids had their last soccer game for the season this last Saturday. To say it was *COLD* is an understatement- We *FROZE*!! It snowed off and on throughout the games in the wind was FREEZING! The kids hung in there though and even had some fun. Everyone got medals which is always fun too! Good Job Sammy and Austin!

I wanted some Fall pictures, since I love Fall. So Saturday Morgan took our family pictures out at Terry's Ranch! Thanks Morgan! She does a *GREAT* job! She ALWAYS does.

Better Taste It First

Taryne is so funny! She loves to taste everything! And really there is not anything that she won't eat. I was making salsa last week and she was taste testing the tomatoes and bell peppers (luckily I already took out the onions and hot peppers). And taste test is really what she does-she likes to take a bite out of each tomato and then put it back. I had to stop her before I had no tomatoes left for salsa.

I thought this last picture was extra funny, but don't let it fool you-she kept going back for another bite! She cracks me up! :)

Rain or Shine

Saturday was soccer and *COLD* and *RAINY!* I gave the kids a choice if they wanted to play or not. At first they said no way-that they should just cancel it. But when I told them they were not canceling them then they said that they did want to play. *DANG IT!* Oh well they still had fun. This coming Saturday will be their last game this season. :( They have a lot of fun and we enjoy watching them burn of all that energy. :D

Soccer Saturdays

We love that Enterprise finally got a soccer league! The kids LOVE it! I love it! They get so much exercise and really enjoy it to. I enjoy watching. The hard part though is that they are on different teams (they are grouped by ages) but they play at the same time. So far it has worked out that Curtis can take his lunch hour at that time and then we split up and switch back and forth. I think that they have done pretty good and are getting better with each game. Both Sammy and Austin say that their favorite part is when they get to play goalie.

Sammy's Debut!

Last year Samantha went to the dance camp that the Wolverines put on, and then they get to perform in a high school football game halftime. She had a lot of fun so she was way excited when they held another one last week. I am posting the video of her performance at the football game on Friday. She had so much fun and did a good job.

Happy Harvest!

It is that time of year that we are harvesting gardens! The kids are pretty good at helping with and when we let them. Austin really liked "peeling" corn. Sammy likes to organize and help, especially helping Grandma make tomato soup. Taryne is over quality control, and taste tests everything.

I am thankful to Mom and Dad for all the work that they put into the garden. I really do try to help when I can, but they end up doing most the work. I really appreciate that they are willing to share the bounty with us.
