Photo Shoot

Last night Taryne found my camera and I believe talked Curt into taking pictures of her. :) And of course Sammy had to have her turn. So here they are!....Yep! modeling the treadmill!
These pics made me laugh so I thought I would share. :)

Sammy

I know some of you already know but I just thought I would record this anyway. Yesterday morning when I was doing Sammy's hair, about 5 minutes into it she says, "Mom my stomach hurts." I say "Sorry." And then a couple seconds later I glance in the mirror and see the color drain from her face as she say, "Mom, my stomach really......." and she passes out and falls over! I was able to grab one arm with the hand that wasn't holding the curling iron so she didn't hit the wall too hard, and then she lay on the ground, eyes open staring straight at the ceiling, but out for about 5 seconds before she came to! What the heck?! It was very strange and quite unnerving! She got up and complained that her stomach still hurt and was still pale. She stayed pale for a few hours but once I finally got her to eat she looked and acted like her good ol' self again. I wrestled with trying to decide what to do for the next few hours but couldn't shake the feeling that I should at least call the Dr. So I did. They said they should probably see her, so I took her in yesterday afternoon. As I already knew, they explained how it could be anywhere from nothing at all (even just standing locked legs, but they don't usually see that by only standing for 5 min.), to blood sugar issues, or a heart condition. But most likely nothing too serious. So our next adventure will be to go in to have an EKG and a 2 hour glucose check done. I feel very optimistic that they won't find anything but did feel better after taking her to the Dr. anyways. Wish us luck-if anything for the glucose test! :P We all know how fun those can be, let alone for an 8 year old....even though I do think she will like the drink more than I do! :)

Baby??

So Taryne has been going through this weird phase I guess, and it has been driving us kind of crazy! When ever she talks about herself it is in third person and she calls herself Baby!!!

Where does she get this?! We never call her "baby" or even "our baby!" We have been trying to get her to at least call herself "Taryne" if she has to refer to herself in third person. But as of now its "Baby's this" or "baby's that" or "baby drink" or whatever. Such a silly silly girl! We love her! :)

Here is one of her favorite things to do! Play with water! She gets to do this when I need to keep her occupied in the kitchen. :)

It's a start!

So I am the Slacker Queen! Thank you very much! I am going to start updating my blog!(Since I was reminded several times this last week or so that I never update) Yes, I am serious! See! Backdrop updated!....It's a start right?? Yes, I know, you want pictures and stuff (that is if y0u even took the time to see if I updated). I will get right on it! :)

Austin turns SEVEN!!!

In November Austin turned SEVEN! He was so excited!! He is the one that looks most forward to his birthday every year. It gets really bad once Samantha's comes along in June! This year he is big into Star Wars and wanted an R2D2 cake for his birthday party.

One of our games was to stuff as many marshmallows in your mouth as possible and still say "happy puppy."

And the other was a race to see who could move their smarties from the table to the bowl with only a straw the fastest. Pretty funny!

We are so happy that Austin is a part of our family! He has such a tender heart and is always the first to share with his sisters!

Halloween 2009

Better late than never! Right?! I have been trying to get my photoshop to work so that I could make these pics into cute pages, but to no avail. :( So, we will post them anyways! :) So here we go, in no special order.....since the site is being stubborn and won't let me switch the order.

We had a FUN Halloween this year! The kids were SO excited! Taryne sure got the "Tritree"(Trick-or-Treat) and "Cue!"(Thank you!) down quick once she seen candy was involved!

A few days before Halloween we carved our pumpkins! This year I was pretty proud of the kids. Usually it is "Mom, it's gross! Will you clean mine out?" But this year they did their best, and with the help of Grandma and Grandpa they ended up with some great jack-o-lanterns!
