Another Summer Treat

Summer time is definitely the time for watermelon! Austin loves watermelon! He drives us crazy from the time we buy it until we finally cut it. And as you can see, there is no one here that really doesn't like that yummy juicy fruit.

Yeah Mariners!

We have definitely had a full week!{as you can probably tell} Saturday was Samantha's last ballgame. Yeah Mariners! It was her first year doing machine pitch and she did a good job. She worked hard on hitting that ball and improved a lot! Her favorite position was catcher. Again I want to thank the coaches. So, Thanks Kristi and Selma! (Selma wouldn't get in the picture) :) All-in-all the girls all had fun and did a great job!

I just wanted to tell my dad Happy Fathers Day! I love you and thank you for being a great, and awesome, and wonderful, and excellent, Dad and Grandpa! :) Thank you so much for all you do!

Also Curtis, you are a wonderful Husband and Best Friend! I love you dearly! The kids and I appreciate all that you do. They love you and look up to you a lot. You are a GREAT Dad! Happy Fathers Day!!

Party Time!

Yesterday was Sammy's birthday party! What a day! The kids had a blast on the water slide and the slip and slide. We had hot dogs for lunch and then had a water balloon fight. The water balloons are always a hit, but I swear it would take me three days of filling the balloons to have them last for more than two minutes! Then we opened presents and had cupcakes. It was such a nice day out--for that matter we should have probably applied the sunscreen a little more.

Then last night we went down and swam at the St. George City Pool. We had lots of fun! Sammy likes to go down the hydrotube. Austin even went down THREE times!

I know! Can you believe it?! I always say it...and I'll say it again...time FLYS!! It kind of freaks me out actually. Before we know it she is going to be a teenager. Anyone know how to slow this down?

We are having her Birthday party tomorrow. So today we took her out to lunch and then she had a ballgame at 5:00. Afterwards we had family over for icecream cake and to open presents.

Yeah Dodgers!

Austin's T-ball season just ended today. That kid LOVES to play ball! His favorite positions were First Base and Catcher. He was also happy to be a Dodger....{ I think because he has been able to start going to Dodgers games with his dad. } This year they changed it up little bit, which was kind of fun. They had the coaches pitch three balls to the kids, and then if they didn't get a hit, they would hit it off the tee. It was amazing to watch how much the kids would improve, even with each game. I also have to say how much I appreciate the volunteer Coaches.

Yummy for My Tummy!

I gave Taryne her first Red Vine the other night. It was just before bath time which was a necessity as you can see. Even though she has no teeth at all, she did NOT give up. She "gummed" that Red Vine until it was completely gone!

Splish! Splash!

Well my new computer has been shipped and should be here soon. But for now I had to take some of the pictures off my camera, since the memory card was full, and put them onto Curt's laptop. Hey, I had ballgames to take picture of so I needed to free up some space.

Taryne has just learned the art of SPLASHING! Now all of the sudden she thinks bathtime is GREAT!

Monday we went to my aunt Pam's house for and extended family FHE. We ate and the kids got to swim in their pool. The SPLASHING came in handy there too! Everyone had a good time.
